This may all seem obvious, but many professional services firms play games such as telling you what they think you want to hear, blurring deliverables, attempting to grow the assignment in scope or duration, back-filling capable staff with less capable ones once the assignment is won, etc, etc. We do not do any of this – we provide deep expertise, we talk straight and we do what we say we’ll do. Because we are a network, as opposed to a stand-alone organization, we do not have large overheads and we can keep our fees well below the usual professional service rates.
