Jonathan Russell

Jonathan is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in BPO and internal shared services since the mid-90's. His experience encompasses process analysis, benchmarking, solution design, transition, service management and operational measurement/improvement, and he has held leadership roles on a number of major BPO and shared services implementations.

Over the last few years, he has focused on developing powerful software tools for ensuring operational excellence in business support processes. These have been used to transform performance in a number of well known organizations.

He regularly speaks at performance improvement events and provides a range of related training workshops. He founded the shared services forum in Scotland on behalf of the Scottish government and is author of a guidebook on setting up and running operational centres. In the early part of his career he held senior accounting roles in a number of major plcs.
